Ready to advance your education career?
Graduates of the EdD program with a concentration in School leadership can expect to have acquired and honed the skills necessary to become top organizational leaders within K-12 schools and similar organizations.
This advanced degree prepares graduates for careers in school leadership by enhancing personal development related to:
- Licensure readiness: Students acquire the information and skills required to pass state licensure exams as dictated by each individual state’s Department of Education.
- Providing elevated results: Whether your goal is to engage adult learners, manage systemic change, or assess progress through cyclic strategic planning (or all three), this program will provide the education necessary to be as successful as you can be in all of these areas.
- Access to the most current information: The EdD with a concentration in School Leadership curriculum was developed from the most recent national standards for educational administrators as set by the National Policy Board for Educational Administrators (NPBEA). These are called the Professional Standards for Education Leaders, or PSEL, and incorporate recent research regarding how to create a learning environment that delivers the most effective and consistent results.
