Saint Leo’s Master’s in Education degree program prepares you to become a leader of educational institutions at the classroom, school, district or top administrative level. Available Specializations

MEd: Educational Leadership
The educational leadership degree is aligned with the national Professional Standards for Educational Leaders. Coursework in this program emphasizes three core areas of study: instructional leadership, school operations and school leadership.
 
MEd: Instructional Leadership
The instructional leadership degree is a fully integrated program that prepares educators who hold a valid teaching certificate to lead an educational institution, emphasizing the core knowledge and skills required to fully participate in educational governance at the school, district and community level.

Degree Requirements

Master’s in Education programs take between 30 and 42 credit hours. Candidates must pass the required Florida educational leadership certification examination to gain eligibility for degree conferral for the Florida State approved program. Students in the multistate program will take the test in their respective state after degree conferral.
